First things first - participants at our group runs must sign a liability waiver.

Seek to use this space to try new things - a new sport or distance, introducing yourself to a new person on the run/ride, or even getting out the door for a 6:00 AM start time, use this space to challenge yourself - we’ll all be committed to getting uncomfortable together.

Understand that this is a space that centers the experience of black and marginalized athletes, but we all are responsible to cultivate a space where all are welcome.

Take care of your neighbors.
We have a no drop policy, meaning, we will all work together to make sure that no one runs/rides alone regardless of distance or pace.

Take care of yourself.
Members of our community are responsible to determine their own level of fitness and health and inform leaders of any medical conditions or concerns BEFORE the run.

Have some situational awareness.
Acquaint yourself with the route. Adhere to traffic signals. Do not run more than two abreast in crowded areas. Be considerate of cycling and pedestrian traffic outside of our group. Move as though you are running on stolen land, because you are.

Listen to guidance from run hosts and volunteers.
Follow directions - don’t make me tell you again.
Everyone is a star.
Be supportive and encouraging of other participants regardless of experience level, pace, distance, etc. Don’t discriminate. We don’t discriminate on the basis of gender, ability, sexuality, or even political affiliation.

It isn’t hard to keep your name out of the Epstein files.
Sexual harassment including unwanted advances, inappropriate or unwelcome comments wil get you banned from future events. Threatening comments or behavior will likewise get you banned. Bullying is not tolerated at our events, and in our online forums - unwelcome or unkind comments online in our channels will likewise get you banned.
